The Bible has quite a bit to say about music throughout it’s many pages. You sometimes have to dig a little but it’s clear that music was as important in biblical days in worshipping and glorifying our creator as it is today. The first reference to musicians in the Bible is in Genesis 4:21. Jubal was the fourth generation from Adam through Cain and is noted as being; “the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe.” The rest of the Bible is full of references to music and worship.
